I was messing with my bracelet (a little pair of handcuffs on a black leather cord) while waiting, which sparked this conversation with 2 old ladies (at least 70 yrs. old) sitting next to me.
Old Lady #1: Oh my, are those hand-cuffs?
Me: Yes, Ma’am.
Old Lady #1: You shouldn’t wear that. People might think you’re into kinky stuff like that. You don’t want to give them the wrong impression.
Me: Who says that’s the wrong impression?
She gets up without saying a word, just shaking her head as she walked away.
Old Lady #2: (pats me on the knee) Silk neck ties are so much more comfortable than handcuffs.
