As a smoker I find this extremely sexy! Looking at this I’m sure he is or at least was a smoker..I’m thinking probably a reformed smoker 🚬😬

on the one time/current/reformed smoker part. Leaning towards reformed, partly because of an interview from War Horse promo, where he said, “…because I grew up in contemporary London, listening to Radio Head, playing football, smoking behind the bike sheds, all the things that young people do.” (so he did at one point as most of us have). But also because we haven’t seen any evidence recently… No photos anywhere (whereas we do with BC, Fassy, etc). No packs on the table in the cafe (and those two things to together); not right when he gets outside the airport after a long flight. But who knows? Jonathan Pine does smoke, though, so there’s that to look forward to… Source for the interview quote:

I like it in movies. It is the sex.

But in real life, huge turn-off.  It’s one of the things that put me off Ben.

Uh, I fell in love with smoking a long time ago. It’s so fucking sexy. I mean, some people don’t do it the sexy way, I guess it’s just like walking – some girls hynotize you, some don’t. But smoking… and when I smoke… ugh, you know, it’s a long story, but I sort of quit, sort of always am relapsing when no one can see me… but I love it.

i’m deathly allergic to cigarette smoke–my throat constricts and I have trouble breathing even to second hand smoke, which makes it very difficult just walking in the park sometimes, trust me. So cigarette smoking is a huge turn-off for me, and why I generally don’t re-blog pics of anyone smoking.

I was very disappointed when I read that Benedict is a regular smoker, [and when, years ago, I learned that Elijah Wood also smokes.] I did worry about Tom being a smoker; he does make it look so effortless in ‘Unrelated’ [and yes, even though I can’t stand it, I can admit the way Oakley smokes is sexy.] but I’m really hoping it was an adolescent phase as the evidence seems to suggest.
