redheadedpixi69:

I’m posting this pic to show other ladies without breasts, that it’s really okay to be BREASTLESS!! I meet so many ladies that have a hard time dealing with the fact that they had to get their breasts removed and I want to motivate them. We survived breast cancer, so we have a whole lot to be thankful for!! Whether we have no breasts, wear prosthesis, had reconstructive surgery, or have one breast, we have LIFE!! We’re still beautiful regardless of how others stare at us, think about us, or talk about us!!

Thank you so much @mrdblanks for this “IMPLIED” nude look!! My husband loves this pic and he loves my scars and I love him!!

The cancer affected my breasts, not my self-esteem!! Now, isn’t she lovely?? YOU are too!! 🎀🙏🏼🎀💕🙏🏼

They also wrote an article on trans women that was awesome.

“Only 5 percent of women have the type of body we see on billboards and in TV commercials. The "Expose” project wants you to see the remaining 95 percent.” (Huffington Post Article)

Tell me something.

When was the last time you opened up your browser and saw a beautiful image of a body shape that looked just like yours?

When was the last time you saw an image of skin markings that looked just like yours?

When was the last time you saw an image of breasts that looked just like yours? An ass that looked just like yours? Scars that looked just like yours? A belly that looked just like yours?

Hear Ye, Hear ye!

Slutty Yorick announces July to be Body Appreciation Month! Let’s proclaim our independence from negative self-image messages; let us celebrate the skin we’re in, and live life to its fullest, regardless of our size, health, gender or genetic background. Let’s all love on the exteriors we got and party within, peoples, because it’s hot! Hot, damn! wooooo!!

curvesandrunningshoes:

GUYS. Can we celebrate the fact a plus sized model is on the COVER of a running magazine?!?! Without any mention of “how to get healthy” or losing weight?! If anything, they mention that weight doesn’t matter. She looks strong and fabulous. Runners come in all shapes and sizes and it’s so awesome that Women’s Running is embracing that. I am so inspired by this.
