ok but being unhealthy doesn’t disqualify you from humanity though???

feelingswithbrandy:

I am so sick of the whole healthy fatty thing. Sure, whenever the concern trolling assholes come around, I’m sure it’s oh-so tempting to be all “ha! but I’m NOT diabetic!”, or go on about your 5k runs, or your perfect cholesterol numbers or how you’re super vegan or whatever. I understand that.

But what you have to understand is that they don’t really care, they just want you to take the time justify yourselves, earn your humanity with proof of your healthiness. (Spoiler alert: they probably won’t believe you, and even if you do somehow come up with a perfectly unquestionable bill of health, they’ll just give you the “well it’ll catch up to you eventually!” thing.)

And it tosses unhealthy people of all sizes under the bus. There *are* fat people who can’t stand or walk for very long. There *are* fat diabetics. There *are* fat people with heart disease/high blood pressure stuff going on. What the fuck are they supposed to do with a movement that uses “Oh, but some fat people aren’t unhealthy!” as one of its main banners?

Even the most knowingly, deliberately unhealthy motherfucker out there deserves respect, humanity, and to not get shat on at every turn.

I’m posting this pic to show other ladies without breasts, that it’s really okay to be BREASTLESS!! I meet so many ladies that have a hard time dealing with the fact that they had to get their breasts removed and I want to motivate them. We survived breast cancer, so we have a whole lot to be thankful for!! Whether we have no breasts, wear prosthesis, had reconstructive surgery, or have one breast, we have LIFE!! We’re still beautiful regardless of how others stare at us, think about us, or talk about us!!

Thank you so much @mrdblanks for this “IMPLIED” nude look!! My husband loves this pic and he loves my scars and I love him!!

The cancer affected my breasts, not my self-esteem!! Now, isn’t she lovely?? YOU are too!! 🎀🙏🏼🎀💕🙏🏼
