I took this picture for a class but I thought it was so powerful.

The beautiful girl to the left has struggled with being called slut whore skank ect because she has well double D’s.

Me, on your right, I’ve always been told especially by guys that I need to “grow bigger boobs”.

But we are who we are. She is big and I am small and that should be okay. Don’t let the world tell you what you should look like.

amazing, this needs more notes

Pisses me off so much though. “Grow bigger boobs”?? Like can you grow a bigger dick? Nah, didn’t think so, go fuck yourselves.

I don’t think this counts as dancing.  Or even skipping really.  It’s more of an exagerated waddle

So. Let me tell you about the day I took this video. It was the 1 year anniversary of my open heart surgery. It’s about a year old, and I’d say it’s pretty safe to say I’ve improved since then. In case you don’t agree, let’s take a look at some more at my exaggerated waddling.

Clearly I am immobilized by my own mass.

Oh wait… that’s not it, is it? It sort of seems like the opposite. Almost as though the ability to dance is based on strength, effort and passion and not on being skinny. Strange concept I know, let’s see if you can wrap your tiny little mind around it.

She snatched they wig right off. You go head lady! Do your thing! You’re beautiful!

She dragged that one, I’m here for this

This great photo is from a campaign launched by Jes Baker (The Militant Baker), in response to the Lane Bryant “I’m No Angel” campaign. The Lane Bryant campaign featured plus size models, and was itself an answer to the limited diversity in Victoria’s Secret advertisements. However, the campaign lacked true diversity, as it featured primarily caucasian models with the typical curvy plus size model body type.

Baker’s “Empower All Bodies” campaign ups the ante by including models with a greater diversity of bodies, as you can see in the awesome image above.
